How we work
People don't come to us for lessons. They come to get somewhere.
Most schools sell hours of class. We work towards goals. Before we start, we agree with each client on what they need to be able to do in Spanish, and by when: run a meeting, close a negotiation, present a report, or live in Madrid without relying on anyone. With that goal set, we build the course, and every class is designed to get you there.
We know language teaching from the inside, and we add pedagogy to that experience. We know why adults make progress and why they give up. That's why we use the method that works for each learner, not the one the textbook prescribes. And if something isn't working, we change it.
Our students don't pile up hours. They pile up things they couldn't do before.

Academic direction
Isabel Baena
Founder and academic director
Academic policy is led by Isabel Baena, a Hispanic philologist and specialist in Spanish as a foreign language and educational technology. She supervises programme design, teaching criteria and assessment.

Our teachers are native Spanish speakers with specialist training in Hispanic Philology or teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
We match the teacher to the level, the professional or academic context and the way the learner needs to use Spanish.
